Big Ryan Classic Raises Over $28,000 — Beating Our $25,000 Goal

Golfers celebrating on the course at sunset after the Big Ryan Classic

We set out to raise $25,000 at the 2026 Big Ryan Classic. Thanks to every golfer, sponsor, volunteer, and dinner guest who showed up on Friday, September 19, we did better than that — the event raised more than $28,000 for the Ryan Harth Foundation.

From the first tee time at Bird Creek Golf Club in Port Austin to the final raffle drawing at dinner, the day felt exactly like Ryan: full of laughter, friendly competition, and people looking out for one another.

What Your Support Makes Possible

Every dollar raised at the Classic goes toward our mission of supporting children who have lost a parent. That includes funding bereavement camp experiences through our partnership with Experience Camps, helping families with practical needs during the hardest stretches, and building the programs that will let us reach more kids in the years ahead.

Beating our goal by more than $3,000 means we can say yes to more of those moments — and plan with confidence for 2027.

Thank You

To our sponsors: your generosity underwrote the event so that player registrations and dinner tickets could go straight to the mission. To our golf committee and volunteers: you handled a thousand details so everyone else could simply enjoy the day. And to everyone who bought a raffle entry, picked up a hat, or made an extra gift at checkout — thank you. It all added up.

Next Year: The Classic Heads Downstate

We have big plans for 2027. The Big Ryan Classic is moving downstate next year, and we intend to make it the biggest Classic yet — more foursomes, more sponsors, and more people hearing Ryan’s story for the first time. The date and course will be announced soon.

If you’d like early word on registration or sponsorship for 2027, keep an eye on our Events page or reach out to us. We’d love to have you there.

Couldn’t make it this year? You can still make a gift in Ryan’s honor.
