Compassion.
We meet families with empathy, patience, and care, honoring each child's unique experience of grief.
Our mission · The heart of RHF
We honor Ryan Harth Steigerwald by standing alongside children who have lost a parent — helping them find healing, belonging, and opportunities for a brighter future.
Every child deserves to be heard.
Healing happens together.
More possibility after loss.
When a child loses a parent, everything can feel uncertain. Their future shouldn't have to.
The Ryan Harth Foundation was created by Ryan's family and friends to carry his compassion forward. We help grieving children access experiences, resources, and relationships that remind them they belong and that their dreams still matter.
That means more than providing financial assistance. It means showing up — through scholarships, meaningful opportunities, and the support of people who care.
They shape how we partner with families, honor Ryan's memory, and care for every child whose path crosses ours.

We build connection and belonging, because no child or family should have to face loss alone.
We steward every gift responsibly and treat every family with dignity, privacy, and respect.

Ryan Harth Steigerwald showed the people around him what it meant to be present, caring, and generous.
After his passing, family and friends came together with a shared conviction: his legacy could become a source of strength for children facing the loss of a parent. That belief became the Ryan Harth Foundation.
Today, every opportunity created and every act of support carries Ryan's spirit forward.
