Earlier this year we announced a $10,000 commitment to Experience Camps — enough to help send four children who have lost a parent, sibling, or caregiver to a week of bereavement camp. We’re happy to share that the foundation has now delivered the second $5,000 installment, bringing our 2026 gift to the full $10,000.
The strong turnout at this year’s Big Ryan Classic made it possible to complete the gift ahead of schedule. When you played, sponsored, or donated, this is where it went.
Why Experience Camps
Experience Camps runs free, one-week camps where grieving kids get to be kids again — surrounded by peers who understand what they’re carrying and counselors trained to help them talk about it. Their team handles camper selection and support with real expertise, so our dollars go directly toward getting children to camp.
For a child who has lost a parent, that week can be the first time they feel truly understood. That’s exactly the kind of moment the Ryan Harth Foundation exists to make possible.
Another $10,000 for 2027
We’re not stopping here. Our board has dedicated another $10,000 to Experience Camps for 2027, so more children can head to camp next summer. Making that commitment now lets Experience Camps plan ahead — and lets us tell you plainly what your next gift will do.
Thank you to everyone who has given, played, sponsored, and shared Ryan’s story this year. You turned a goal on paper into four kids at camp, and you’ve already started on the next four.
